| Amember of the Araceae family, the Alocasia is know for its large arrow or heart shapped leaves. This plant does well outside in Zone 10. It can be difficult to grow inside as a foliage plant but with bright light and a moist but not saturated soil it is worth the effort. Spider mites can be the pest that harms the plant but that can be controlled by chemicals. | |
