ADENIUM  OBESUM
     This unique plant is commonly called Desert Rose due to the sparseness of the foliage and the lovely bloom that looks like a flower from the desert.  Found in the semi-arid regions of the Arabian Peninsula and into Africa, it is a short, bottle-shaped plant and considered a succulent.  No two of these plants are alike and can really be fun to grow.  As it gets bigger and must have a new pot, one can take the soil away from the base of the plant and reveal the interesting base.
